The Seal of Ohio Girl Scouts Council is a volunteer organization and a member of the Untied Way Fund. The Girl Scout Program offers a wide range of activities in the arts, the home, and the out-of-doors. It is one program with five age levels, each in harmony with the needs and inertest of the girls at that age. Girls of all races, creeds, nationalities, economic, and geographic backgrounds who are willing to accept the promise and law are welcome to join. In Girl Scouting, the emphasis of the prom is on service. The promise, "On my honor, I will try: to serve God and my country, to help at all times, and to live by the Girl Scout Law", is an essential part of a Girl Scout's life.
